- ✓Green: it matches.

- ↑↓Arrows ↑ ↓: today's character debuted later or earlier.
Hair: usual appearance, without transformations. Origin: planet or world of birth or creation, not residence.
Easy: the best-known characters. Normal: also memorable side characters. Hard: one-episode, film or tournament characters, plus Super manga-only ones.

How do you play the Dragon Ball character guessing game?
Type the name of any Dragon Ball, Z or Super character and pick it from the suggestions. Each guess compares seven attributes with the secret character: gender, race, hair, origin, affiliation, debut series and debut saga. Use the colors and arrows to close in until you find it.
What do the colors and arrows mean?
Green: the attribute matches. Yellow: a partial match, for example a hybrid sharing one of its races or a movie from the same era. Red: no match. Grey: one of the two characters is missing that data. For debut series and saga, ↑ means today's character debuted later and ↓ means earlier.
Which hints can I unlock?
After 3 guesses you learn whether the character transforms; after 5, their occupation; and after 7, where they live. Hints are optional: skip them for a tougher challenge.
What is the difference between easy, normal and hard?
Easy features the best-known characters, such as Goku, Vegeta or Piccolo. Normal adds memorable heroes, rivals and side characters. Hard includes characters from a single episode, movie or tournament, plus those who only appear in the Dragon Ball Super manga. Each difficulty has its own daily character.
How many guesses do I get?
As many as you need: there is no limit. The goal is to guess in as few tries as possible. If you get stuck, you can give up and see the answer.
What counts as hair and origin?
Hair is the color of the character's usual look, without transformations: Goku has black hair even though he turns Super Saiyan. Origin is the planet or world where they were born or created, not where they live now: Goku comes from Planet Vegeta, not Earth.
